Hazy Days presents a fictional future Earth where thick layers of dust fill the air, and most of humanity has already left for another planet.

A point cloud project
The project takes the form of a virtual point cloud exhibition, with an idea of a museum staging a future world. Point cloud models of everyday objects are displayed in a digital environment.
The fragmented nature of the point cloud makes the models increasingly fragmented as the viewer approaches, reflecting the instability of perception during a dark hour.
The dim environment reflects a world where dense air blocks the sunlight. Only subtle transitions of light mark the passage of time and days.
(*This project was initially developed on glitch.com, a platform for code-based projects. However, due to the heavy point cloud data, the project had to be documented as a video and the original webpage was eventually removed.)

Logline
Time is a project that mingles point cloud models of my personal belongings into one single virtual object.

A point cloud project
The work is accompanied by a recording of the ambient sounds on my desk.
By layering these visual and audio fragments of everyday life into one form, the piece imitates how multiple personal experiences intertwine into a singular entity over time.
